All India Institute of medical Sciences, Deoghar is an Institute of National Importance (INI), established in the year 2019, under PMSSY, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India.
It is a public Medical College and hospital being established by the ministry of Health and Family Welfare Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) OPD Services was inaugurated by Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya on 24th August 2021. IPD services was established on 12th July 2022
The Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF), AIIMS Deoghar, was established on February 9, 2023, due to the efforts of Dr. Saurabh Varshney, the Executive Director. ATF AIIMS Deoghar is supervised by the Department of Psychiatry, with Dr. Santanu Nath serving as the nodal officer.
We are providing Diagnostic, Treatment Referral, Counselling services regarding the prediction and other related health condition to patient in our OPD.
ATF also promotes community outreach programs and health awareness campaigns. It strives to address the healthcare needs of the underserved populations in the region, organizing medical camps, health check-ups, and awareness programs on various addiction related issues. By actively engaging with the local community, It aims to improve the overall health and well-being of the population it serves.
