This facility has been providing services on outdoor basis to people with all kinds of substance abuse disorders for the last one year. The number of patients attending the facility on an average has been steadily increasing every month. The most common substance abused is heroine followed by cannabis , alcohol and other substances. The patients registered at this facility for management are not only from District Doda but also from the adjoining districts of Ramban, Kishtwar ,Udhampur and also from other parts of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The facility has gained popularity amongst the masses for proper and efficient management of substance abuse disorders. The staff at the facility is also working with the staff of state mental health services for raising awareness in the public about mental health issues including substance abuse disorders
